British Ceramics Biennial

The British Ceramics Biennial returns to Stoke-on-Trent’s former Spode factory with a series of exhibitions, talks and events.

bcblogoA particular highlight of this year’s festival promises to be an installation by Steve Dixon and Johnny Magee in commemoration of World War One, comprising 5,608 bone china forget-me-nots. Alongside new work from Bruce McLean, Neil Brownsword, Lawrence Epps and 2013 AWARD winner Nao Matsunaga, regular features FRESH, a showcase of new talent, and AWARD will be on display in the China Hall at Spode.
On the shortlist for the 2015 AWARD are Bethan Lloyd-Worthington, Amy Jayne Hughes, James Rigler, Paul Scott, Mella Shaw, Sam Bakewell, Anne Gibbs, Ingrid Murphy, Jon Pigott, Aneta Regel, Caroline Tattersall and Andrea Walsh.
