The Craft Potters Association offers Public and Product Liability Insurance (PPLI) for active CPA members who have opted to include insurance as part of their membership.

The policy covers members exhibiting at events or holding in-studio workshops up to £5,000,000. Event organisers most often require that exhibitors be covered under such insurance as part of any application.

Public liability insurance for eligible members of The Craft Potters Association is arranged by Howden Insurance Brokers Limited trading as Hencilla Canworth, a specialist insurance intermediary for the creative sector. The policy provides £5,000,000 of public liability insurance for its qualifying members.
 
The policy is underwritten by Hiscox Insurance Company Ltd and is for members of The Craft Potters Association as a benefit of membership for qualifying members, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.

Qualifying members are

Any Selected or Fellow Member of the Craft Potters Association or any Associate Member of the Craft Potters Association that has elected to include insurance as a benefit of membership and paid the appropriate membership surcharge and is normally resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

Insurance Policy Wording – this details the full cover provided including terms, conditions and exclusions. This document should be read with your Insurance Policy Schedule as this forms the basis of your insurance contract.

Please note, the below documents are generic summaries of our cover. To prove that you are currently covered under CPA PPLI you must show your receipt of purchase of membership and insurance, which details the dates of coverage.

Once purchased your insurance will be valid for 1 year. The dates on the insurance documents (1st January to 31st December) are for office use only.
