The British Ceramics Biennial returns to Stoke-on-Trent’s former Spode factory with a series of exhibitions, talks and events.
A particular highlight of this year’s festival promises to be an installation by Steve Dixon and Johnny Magee in commemoration of World War One, comprising 5,608 bone china forget-me-nots. Alongside new work from Bruce McLean, Neil Brownsword, Lawrence Epps and 2013 AWARD winner Nao Matsunaga, regular features FRESH, a showcase of new talent, and AWARD will be on display in the China Hall at Spode.
On the shortlist for the 2015 AWARD are Bethan Lloyd-Worthington, Amy Jayne Hughes, James Rigler, Paul Scott, Mella Shaw, Sam Bakewell, Anne Gibbs, Ingrid Murphy, Jon Pigott, Aneta Regel, Caroline Tattersall and Andrea Walsh.
