Fellowship

Fellowship is the highest level of recognition within the CPA. It is awarded to Selected Members whose work demonstrates outstanding quality and who have made a significant and sustained contribution to the field of studio ceramics beyond their own practice.

Fellowship is awarded through peer nomination only and reflects recognition by the ceramics community of both excellence and wider influence.

Key features

  • Peer nomination only (no self-application)
  • Minimum 7 years as a Selected Member
  • Assessment based on both quality of work and contribution to the field (e.g. teaching, writing, curating, mentoring, research)
  • Selection by a panel including Fellows, Council representation and an external expert

Recognition includes

  • Acknowledgement of significant contribution to the field of studio ceramics
  • Identification as a CPA Fellow across CPA platforms, publications and events
  • Downloadable CPA Credentials Pack for display on your website
  • A profile listing on the CPA website
  • £5,000,000 public and product liability insurance (UK-based members)
  • Option to apply to be part of our CPA mentorship scheme
  • Voting rights and the opportunity to stand for election to Council
  • Opportunities for editorial and gallery showcase
